The mortality rate from EEE is approximately one-third, making it one of the most deadly mosquito-borne diseases in the United States. About half of the persons who survive EEE suffer mild to severe permanent neurologic damage.

OUR IPM  PROGRAM

We closely monitor for standing water, mosquito larvae and adult mosquito's at each visit. We will make recommendations to help control  breeding hot spots.  
Any remaining standing water will be monitored and treated as needed with a larvicide that will kill the mosquito larva.  If adult mosquito are detected areas will get sprayed appropriately.  We spray areas that will harbor the adult mosquito.  Tree and shrub beds, ground cover, walls, under decks and sheds, woodpiles, wood and field edges including those trees and shrubs on the field or wood edge. 

What Is West Nile Virus?
West Nile virus (WNV) is a potentially serious illness. Experts believe WNV is established as a seasonal epidemic in North America that flares up in the summer and continues into the fall.

Eastern Equine Encephalitis?

Eastern equine encephalitis (EEE) is a mosquito-borne viral disease. EEE virus (EEEV) occurs in the eastern half of the United States where it causes disease in humans, horses, and some bird species. Because of the high mortality rate, EEE is regarded as one of the most serious mosquito-borne diseases in the United States.
